Graphic Design
Desigining custom web graphics is my favorite type of work.   It is a coordinated effort between you and me.  We can start from scratch or you can provide me with a basic drawing of your desired graphic.

I work with the following formats for web graphics: PNG (.png), JPEG (.jpg) and GIF (.gif).  These file types are pixel files and are normally used for web design.  They are generally created in an RGB (Red, Green, Blue) color format.  (Note: Not all colors look the same when viewed on different computers, especially GIF files.)

I do my best to use only web safe colors for GIF files, but may not always be able to provide them depending on the color matching of other logo files you request.  For consistent color results on all of your applications, I will normally need the Pantone PMS color numbers for each color you select.  Click here to view a listing of PMS, RGB and HTML colors that you can choose from.

You will receive you graphic(s) via e-mail.  If you are having me design your web site, I will upload any graphics that I create for that purpose along with sending them to you via e-mail.

You will receive all rights (copyrights) to your graphic(s).  I do, however, retain the right to use your logo in my marketing and advertising.

Pricing depends on the complexity of the desired logo and the amount of time required to complete your design and receive your approval.  For my basic pricing structure, please click here or on the Pricing link at the top of the page.

Logo Creation
Logo creation is more complex than creating web graphics.  Because you will most likely want to register/trademark your logo, it has specific requirements that have to be met.  For information on how to trademark your logo (you know, get the ® after it), check out the United States Patent & Trademark Office information by clicking here.

Your logo can also be used for non-web applications such as embroidery, marketing materials, sign creation, etc.  The most common file format types needed by printing and embroidery companies (i.e., professional print jobs) are AI (Illustrator) and EPS. These are vector format files. These files are in a CMYK color format. (Note: Vector art allows you to reduce or enlarge the design to ANY size without compromising its detail or clarity.) These are normally large in size and not recommended for web site use.

I prefer not to get into logo creation due to the time involved and my limited staff.  If you would like to research how to get your logo created, I recommend The Logo Company.  Click on their banner below for more information.
